Friends of Fort Knox Hosts Civil War Reenactment

Friends of Fort Knox hosted a civil war reenactment with the 20th of Maine and the 15th of Alabama on Saturday, July 16. Battle skirmishes, field surgery, musket demonstrations along with the firing of a canon kept visitors busy and on their toes throughout the day.

Did the South suffer less casualties from battlefield wounds than the North? Did Jeff Daniels portray Colonial Joshau Chamberlain in Gettysburg?
