Our Capitol was breached yesterday, but it wasn’t the first time. In fact, Glenn says our ‘Capitol’ — our history, traditions, principles, and our education systems — were breached by the left years or even a decade ago. Glenn explains that our Capitol isn’t just located in Washington, D.C. It’s also inside each of us. And we must never allow for it to be breached — not from the outside and not from the inside, either.
All those who stormed the Capitol should be lawfully punished — as should have happened to Antifa rioters during the summer of 2020. Because, as Glenn says, “if we become everything we despise, we are truly done as a nation.” BUT, we must examine the causes of the Capitol riots. What do people do when our institutions — and the lawful methods for which we try to fight injustice — seemingly fail?
