Over 200 healthcare workers and supporters lined State Street and Capitol Street on Wednesday protesting Governor Janet Mills mandatory vaccination of all healthcare workers by October 1st. At one point, majority of the protestors walked around the block and some stationed around the State Street and Memorial Drive rotary.
“I don’t think government should be forcing any vaccination on anybody,” Olivia Turner, Wednesday’s protest organizer told Davespaper.com.
“I don’t think that’s right at all. I worked all last year during a pandemic with no vaccine and now all of a sudden I’ve lost my job.”
