Lincoln, Maine — A coordinated law enforcement operation led to multiple arrests, a drug seizure, and the recovery of a stolen vehicle at a residence in Lincoln on Thursday, July 31, 2025.

At approximately 11:25 a.m., the Lincoln Police Department—assisted by the East Millinocket Police Department and K9 Derby, Maine Probation and Parole, and the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office—executed a probation check at 600 Mohawk Road. The check was prompted by information alleging suspected drug activity at the property.

The residence was known to be the home of 56-year-old Ann Lord, who is currently on active probation. Upon arrival, law enforcement encountered several individuals inside the home and on the premises. During an initial sweep, K9 Derby, handled by Sgt. Clayton of East Millinocket PD, alerted to the presence of narcotics both within the home and inside an on-site camper.

Given the number of people residing at the address, officers secured a search warrant. As the warrant was being prepared, 60-year-old Scott Lord Sr. was observed discarding an item into nearby woods after reaching into his pocket. A probation officer quickly retrieved the item, which was found to contain a substance suspected to be fentanyl/heroin and crack cocaine. Lord was immediately taken into custody.

Upon execution of the search warrant, officers discovered additional suspected narcotics and a truck on the property that had previously been reported stolen out of Knox County.

The following individuals were arrested and charged:

Ann Lord, 56, of Lincoln, was taken into custody by Maine Probation and Parole for a probation violation and was also charged with Unlawful Possession of a Scheduled Drug (Class C).
Scott Lord Sr., 60, of Lincoln, was charged with:
- Two counts of Unlawful Possession of a Scheduled Drug (Class C)
- Receiving Stolen Property (Class B)
- Falsifying Physical Evidence (Class D)
James Carlow, 50, of Exeter, who was present at the residence, was arrested on an outstanding warrant and later released on bail.
Jules Michaud, 41, of Mattawamkeag, was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Scheduled Drug (Class D).

The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges may be forthcoming.
