One more time the Lincoln Lakes Regional Democratic Committee‘s leader is pretending to block the sun with his thumb. The sophist arguments show the level of desperation to ensure that illegals and others can continue to vote in the Maine Elections with no control and total disregard for honest Mainers.
The US Constitution clearly establishes that only US Citizens and, in each state, only resident/citizens have the right to vote, and that we only vote once.
While correctly noted, the State ID does not indicate nationality. Nevertheless, it will go a long way in stopping illegal and improper voting. And yes, we are supposed to show being citizens when we register to vote, however, the Secretary of State (wonder why) has instructed Town and City Clerks not to verify. Thus, only if someone is demonstrated as a non-citizen there is action to be taken. Bottom line, under the current mandate from the Secretary of State (who by the way wants to be governor) anyone can register to vote no matter where they are from, and this is the trap created to allow anyone to register to vote and continue to elect more Democrats.
As long as we want clean and honest elections, the first mayor reform is to pass Voter ID, after all, at the end of the day, only those who benefit from cheating are fighting against Voter ID for ME.
