Reports are coming in Monday afternoon and evening of the crackdown of Ottawa police arresting people for beeping vehicle horns. Additional reports of arrests of people for carrying gas cans, also referred to as “jerry cans.”

Warning: Crude Language and “F” Bombs.
This is what and how a tyrannical government looks like and operates.

Canada ‘Freedom Convoy’: Ottawa police arrest 7, threaten charges for others caught bringing fuel to truckers

Fox News | by Danielle Wallace | February 7, 2022

Canadian police announced Monday that seven people have been arrested and more than 100 have been issued tickets in connection to “demonstration-related enforcement” in Ottawa.

This comes after Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson declared a state of emergency Sunday afternoon as approximately 500 trucks and vehicles with the “Freedom Convoy” continued to linger in the streets of the Canadian capital to protest vaccine mandates and other coronavirus-related restrictions.

Ottawa Police Service issued a warning earlier Monday that “anyone found bringing fuel to the demonstration trucks in the red zone could be subject to arrest and charges.”

Multiple vehicles and fuel have been seized. Five of the seven arrests were for unspecified mischief. A sixth person was charged for driving while prohibited and a seventh for mischief “relating to property damage of a downtown business,” police said in a press release.

More than 100 Highway Traffic Act and other “Provincial Offence Notices” were issued for offenses including excessive honking, driving the wrong way, defective muffler, no seat belt, alcohol readily available and having the improper class of driving license, police said.

So far, 60 criminal investigations related to the demonstration have been opened, primarily for mischief, thefts, hate crimes and property damage. Confederation Park has been fully cleared and fenced.

Ottawa Police Service has received 100 Ontario Provincial Police officers to assist with demonstrations.

Watson said in a statement Sunday that declaring a state of emergency “reflects the serious danger and threat to the safety and security of residents posed by the ongoing demonstrations.”

“This is a siege — it is something that is different in our democracy than I’ve ever experienced in my life,” Ottawa Police Chief Peter Sloly said on Saturday. “We do not have sufficient resources to adequately and effectively address this situation.”

The “freedom truck convoy” has attracted support from many U.S. Republicans including former President Donald Trump, who called Prime Minister Justin Trudeau a “far left lunatic” who has “destroyed Canada with insane Covid mandates.” Ontario Premier Doug Ford has called the ongoing protest “an occupation.”

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said Saturday that he and the state’s attorney general would investigate GoFundMe after the crowdfunding online platform shut down the Canadian “Freedom Convoy” official fundraising campaign. Faced with fraud allegations, GoFundMe then walked back its stance about redistributing the funds and said it would be refunding the thousands of donors automatically.

The convoy has since turned to the Christian fundraising site GiveSendGo to collect donations.

Just In: Canadian Judge Issues Temporary Injunction Against HONKING As Trucker Convoy Continues to Protest – Says Resident’s Right for “Quiet” Supersedes Citizen’s Right to Protest Peacefully

Gateway Pundit | by Julian Conradson | February 7, 2022

On Monday, a Canadian judge dealt another shocking blow to the trucker convoy, outlawing one of the most effective tactics protesters have employed as they gridlock the Capital city of Ottawa – honking.

The truckers announced they shut down their honking at 8 PM.

Ontario superior court justice Hugh McLean issued a temporary 10-day injunction that prohibits protesters parked on city streets in downtown Ottawa from honking their horns after a group of central Ottawa residents filed a multimillion-dollar class-action lawsuit against the protesters.

Lawyer Paul Champ, who is representing the Ottawa residents in the case, argued that the loud, incessant honking is causing “irreparable harm,” which McLean decided was ample evidence to strip Canadian citizens of their right to protest, in favor of the residents right for “quiet.”

As of right now, it is unclear how the Ottawa Police will enforce the new measures.

According to Pique News:

“McLean said he heard enough evidence that the continual blaring of horns was having an effect on residents that their right to ‘quiet, if we can use that term,’ trumped the honking truckers’ right to protest.”

But McLean said the injunction was temporary because a ‘myriad of people’ may still wish to come before the court to be heard.

The hearing adjourned and the court is slated to hear more evidence on how the injunction will be enforced.”

The new injunction is just the latest roadblock that has been pulled straight out of the fascist playbook by the Canadian government in their fight against this grassroots freedom movement. The Canadian Truckers Convoy has now faced several authoritarian measures and outright violations of their (Canadian) constitutional rights, including interference by government authorities to restrict their funding, officers of the state cutting off their supply linesslander by state media and politicians, outright theft of their food, gas, and other essentials by police officers, and enhanced clandestine operations by law enforcement agencies to identify and hunt down key organizers and participants of the protest.

Nevertheless, these brave men and women continue to stand firm, fighting for the freedom the previous generations of great men and women gave up their lives for – and they are spurring a movement all across the world.

The truckers are heroes. Canadian dictator, Two-face Trudeau, better be ready to send in the cavalry to get them out of there, because they have made it clear that they aren’t going anywhere until the tyrannical oppression and arbitrary, un-scientific restrictions come to an end.

The tyrants are running scared, the media is in full spin mode, and the world is watching.

From Australia to Poland, to Greece, to Germanyall across Canada, and several other countries around the world, truckers are coming out in full force to stand against this freedom-crushing oppression.

It’s time for the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave to take it to DC and put an end to this shamdemic once and for all.

HONK HONK!
